3form works with various groups throughout Africa who help impoverished women find meaningful work in order to combat widespread poverty.


Unravel Black / White (Mali)
A cooperative of 25 African women crochet local organic yarn into simple lace. The product is then sent to Southwest Creations, a group creating jobs to alleviate poverty in women in America, for final manipulation.

Ithemba (south Africa)
HIV - impacted women earn a much needed income by weaving copper and traditional beads. They receive business skills training, job skills training, marketing support and mentorship.

Migration (Swaziland)
A studio founded in the 1940s connects specially trained African weavers from Northern Swaziland with international textile designers and manufacturers. Weavers use traditional hand looms to create the delicate weave. They then employ manual techniques to finish the design.
